Not seeing an icon to say a well can be upgraded.
There isn’t one, but it would be nice. What I usually respond to is the “well is dry” icon that appears AFTER the well has been full and useful for a while. That prompts me to see if it can be upgraded (for which you need iron bars, which you can’t get unless you either buy it or have already got to Tier 3 and have a foundry).
Of course, the well wants to be upgraded before you get to Tier 3 and don’t have any iron bars. Usually, at that stage, merchants who come to the trading post don’t sell iron bars. Naturally.
