Nocturne – Lazy, Budget, Player scaled Pets, Conjurer & Ritualist

_Oblivion BK Ritualist FINAL.zip (2.3 MB)
Gameplay is self-explanatory. Can facetank a lot. Can pull together a lot of boss combos on SR 30-31, but sometimes you need to reposition etc. SR 36+ you have to try and play at range most likely. Hf.

Hm… I think this has more to do with my piloting skills or lack of rather than the build, but I seem to be having trouble with damage spikes and not having a way to heal outside of actively dps’ing. I am not good with timings and reacting fast enough.

These two have made me hit a wall for now though I am sure if I piloted carefully without getting greedy, they would melt in due time -

Build has some serious WTF OP dmg though… I am kind of curious to see you build for deep SR now, seems like if speed is taken to be less of a concern, there is a ton of room for additional defense. The thing was going through non nemesis mobs like it was 30-31 and not sr40.

In SR, I tend to play Nocturne like that Totem Druid from top 20 - plop down totems and then just run around doing whatever, letting me whittle down boss hp while I avoid the bosses as much as possible. So, some of the tankiness in my build also comes from not having to actually tank and being able to play by running away . Yes, Savagery is purely for Cally…

EDIT -

It is done :triumph: - SR 40 with your BH Ritualist.

Zantai, nerf Bone Harvest Ritualists ty, this thing is deleting Nemesis bosses at sr40 facetanking within the duration of an Aether Cluster…

Also… well then… seems you dont need pots or clusters for cally facetank after all…
I think you can safely give it the HC stamp imo. Now I am going to go have an existential crisis on behalf of necro skeletons :+1:

I am glad you had fun with it. Wouldn’t dare pushing it against SR40, just seems like such an extreme difficulty that kinda warps what build tank to damage ratio should be. So I guess if it’s less tanky for deep sr it has to be that Wendigo Totem and high DA that are making the difference.

I could but it doesn’t feel like an interesting challenge to me. Actually just like switching to DA augs in Jewellery and then adding Ill Omen for that extra layer might do the trick. Also maybe capping armor absorb while you are at it. But that would just ruin the build for me.

EDIT:
missed that part

Yeah, you can do it with this build as well kinda, like hit and run. It has very solid dots as well. But also that’s what SR40 would come down to most of the time: just avoiding damage and skirmishes as much as possible and letting passive damage/pets do work for you.

Yeah, playing it in a hit and run fashion and relying heavily on MoT helped solve the initial survivability issues I was having

also god damn save has a soul shard in it (from your screenshots) which is just for the ravager fight, so you were missing the defensive value of one bloodied crystal there.
