Today I had the displeasure of playing crucible with a player with 11.5k DA and OA. Are there no anticheat detectors in multiplayer?
NO… Moddable game and no central servers.
What Jaknet said. Otherwise, you can either:
-Kick the player if you are hosting the server (or ask the host to).
Or
-Leave and find another server / create your own so you can do the above
So the guy cheated but couldn’t cheat his resists. What a bad cheater.
Lol, I ran into a soldier with 30k hp and he could face tank lokarr without taking much damage. I was skeptical but I didn’t really care. He was telling me how good he was etc. Even though i’m pretty sure he was a hacker. He had 6k DA and 12k armor.
it’s not that easy… OA and DA you get from attribs, so you can get those as high as you want, but resists you get from gear and its stats are part of the game data
Don’t defend cheaters.
Don’t get your panties in a twist because someone plays the game differently from you. It’s a single player game where modding is actively encouraged. So what what if he wants to have 20k in each attribute? What’s it hurting you?
Kinda funny that he didn’t use an item mod to make a medal or something with +150% to each resist though. Probably needs that 11k DA just to not die.
Would need to be host-side, not client-side.
no idea what part of my post was a defense, it was an explanation for why the resistances were not maxed
It’s impossible for there to be cheaters in this game…it’s a single player game, fully moddable, no leaderboards or any form of competitive play.
So mamba isn’t defending cheaters as they DON’T EXIST !
Edit…if you were not being serious and having a joke then please make it clear as otherwise it’s not obvious
