Totalbiscuit started doing a kickstarter video series just now. I’d assume Grim Dawn isn’t mentioned as it probably went up in the middle of him making the video. Hopefully it will be mentioned in his next one if he decides to continue the series.

From what I have pieced together from the Steam forums of various indie devs who will talk about the developer/publisher side of Steam, someone with the THQ Steam account has to update the news.
I could be very very very wrong about this however, Im like 60/40 on it myself.

No offense to Arthur Bruno, Crate Entertainment, or Titan Quest, but they don’t carry the same kind of name recognition as Tim Schafer or Brian Fargo. Those guys are industry icons and it’s unrealistic to think that Grim Dawn’s Kickstarter would come anywhere near matching the buzz their’s created. I wish it were otherwise, but that’s the reality of it.
Still, we’re over 83k already, that’s pretty dang good I think. (Somebody just pledged the 4k tier!)

I would have to agree, the others are legends and why they made so much money in such a small amount of time, still GD is doing really well, and certainly getting more publicity now then it ever did before

This is the kind of stuff that brings in whole hordes of people these days. It seems that written articles are quickly being ignored, probably because they contain too many characters (> 140?) for a considerable group to keep their attention :eek:
I have absolutely no clue as to who or what are the best to approach for it, but if others on these forums do, they should try and get some of the major youtube channels to review/plug/whatever the Grim Dawn Kickstarter.
it should be the same as DFA and WL2, and others that ship out, when the goods are ready, you will get an email asking you to fill out a survey, but I think the survey will probably happen closer to when the game ships, so it won’t be anytime soon
