wow first 8k backer, I wonder who it was?
awesome having that kind of money to burn, but congrats on whoever it is, and yes brings up a little closer to the goal

I’m kind of guessing the yogcast since they made a comment on the wall which is awesome. But that’s a guess who knows?
I am so very grateful to the $1000+ backers! And yes, wish we had more backers at this point too considering those other guys were funded within 1-2 days, but we have made significant progress and am quite hopeful
Yeah, I’m just the dude who worked on TQ, they have pretty long careers with a number of notable titles.
Although, I still think a big part of it is that Tim Schafer has great hair and I barely have any.
Yeah, a side-quest in a (radioactive) marsh, full of turtles and with a giant kraken as boss.
I wonder what he will do with 20 copy though.
And special thank to every >1k$ backers.
Has anyone have contacted Kotaku.com?
It will help a lot if they can publish an article about this project.
You have heaps of hair, it’s just upside down.
As a balding dude myself, I can sympathize. Out of curiosity, now that we’re 95k deep into this, how many heart attacks have you had since Kickstarter went live?
You try to compensate with your avatar?
Hey now, chicks dig bald guys…just ask my wife!

I’m always a bit afraid about > 1k$ pledge. There’s always a little risk that they’re just dumb guys who make a big joke and erase their donation a few hours before the end or just cannot pay…
Or the could be Blizzard employees doing a little corporate sabotage…
Joking, I hope!
Brother, I’m right there with you. BALD MEN UNITE!
But, to put it into perspective… compare it to Jane Jensen’s project Pinkerton Road.
She is pretty respected as a successful writer / game maker, probably one of the best in her genre of games, but her project has been live for two weeks, and she only has 500 more backers than this project… she also only raised $33K in her first two days… She is still on track to more than double her goal, so if the GD project has near as much success we will be doing just fine.
You are propably not old enough to know them. Until a while ago I didnt know Fargo as well. They are basically gaming history that produced games that are considered milestones.
looks like an interesting KS, hope they reach their funding goal, but I won’t be funding it, maybe once the game is out, looks promising mind
Grats on hitting the 100k mark guys!

Ok, after a long time of inactivity here (although I kept lurking the forums from time to time) I just kicked in $35. Maybe I’ll be able to up my pledge when Crate know exactly how much it’ll be for the boxed version and whether it will include a Mac version or not. I’m really just hoping someone makes a decent WINE wrapper in order to play this game on Mac OS X
PS: I look remarkably like Arthur… except he’s white and I’m of Hispanic origins. Am I or are you my clone?

Is it an invasion of bald men on these forums?
Even the smileys are bald!
Players will be thrust into the dark, war-torn world of Cairn where a once proud empire has been brought to ruin and the human race driven to the edge of extinction. Cairn has become ground zero of an eternal war between two otherworldly powers, one seeking to use human hairs as a resource, the other intent upon destroying the human race before that can happen. This cataclysmic war has not only decimated human haircut but is warping the very fabric of reality and, in its wake, giving life to new horrors.
