Overall benchmarks and according to number of complaints of this driver in reddit, it seems good. Has anyone installed it after uninstalling withDDU and tested?
I’ve been using it no problems. One guy on Steam reported (with a 1070? Or 60?) that the game started crashing on Exit to desktop for him but I haven’t seen it happen (with a 760).

I’m using a GTX 1070 with 378.78 and it’s working fine.
Working fine (upgraded from clean installed 378.77), but i didn’t play GD for a long time with this new drivers.
yup, 378.78 since day 1, a bit more smoother, everything on max always, no probs at all
Playing Grim Dawn with Nvidia GTX 750Ti 4GB, driver version 378.78.
Standard random crashes for Gog version, nothing new.
In other words, it works normally.
@SoM:
Which hardware u got? Did u change something like deactivated hyperthreading or things like that? Or just play on “normal”, standard settings?
Thanks all, i also installed it
Sounds to me more like that pre-overclock on your card is the cause of your “standard” crashes, which are not standard for me on my 760.
Might want to look into that as there are simple fixes that you can try. Maybe you can even redefine your definition of what is standard for GD in the process?

I’ve never overclocked my graphical card, 'cause i want it to last as long as possible. I’m not going to downclock anything just for this one game. I have more than 60 games installed, and this is the only game which randomly crashes at any time. Last few hours I’ve sent them at least 7 crash reports.

Well damn, i feel like a fish out of water. :p:cry::undecided:
I am actually experiencing about a 10 FPS loss in game. Compared to the last driver, on my GTX 950.
Maybe i have to tweak with some stuff as i had to reset my bios the other day (although the only thing i changed prior, was fan control ).
sry forgot to add

It is crashes (error with crash to desktop) or just freezes (picture is static and nothing you can do, except ctrl+alt+del)? I have (had) second type of problem and my friends online (internet or LAN - doesn’t matter) too with various driver versions (all with Windows 7 and Intel CPUs / Nvidia graphic adapters). With 378.78 i got zero game freeze but i haven’t play for a 5+ hours in one sessions so it proofs nothing.
Oh man. I have a GTX 1080 and i7-6800k.
And nothing runs “smooth”. In bigger fights the fps drops to 16-18 (which is really good because before i tweaked all these recommended things at forums i got only 8-11 fps).
No Vsync
Anti aliasing 0
Anisotropic filtering 4x

Hm, i will test 378.78, hope it will get a bit better.
I have played several hours by now, with Nvidia 378.78, and it’s pretty standard crashes I have. During exiting the game, during starting the game, in the middle of the single player, sometimes in multiplayer online. Hotfix1 1.0.0.8 just reduced the total number of crashes per hour, something I’ve commented before in other crash issue post, but the problem remains. I guess it’s just a bonus feature for this game.
