OA vs Raw Damage

Hey, I was wondering how much Offensive Ability to Sacrifice for Raw Damage? Both in general and specifically for this: I’ve got two theory-crafted Belgothian Blademaster builds and I was wondering which one to try and work for - no Greens, because I hate green MI farming.

The first one has about an extra 180/160 OA/DA advantage over the second one, but the second one has 1.4K more HP, and deals about 1.5k more damage on average on each hit.

So, both in this specific context and in general, how much damage should one sacrifice for OA/DA?

Here’s a spec that keeps your higher-HP version with a lot more OA, as well as the nightblade WPS that go so well with Belgo’s strikes. It loses some of the overcap your version had, but has an extra 18 RR from the gloves, OA/DA shred, and some fumble. You can also take some points out of cunning and drop them into physique to get even more beefy.

For a broader answer, an effective OA/DA of around 3k is a good place to be. It makes you nearly immune to crits from nemeses and keeps a decent crit chance for everything except super bosses.
