Oathkeeper Scion of Dreeg Transmuter

I saw that the Transmuter Scion of Dreeg for Summon Guardian of Empyrion converts phys > vitality and fire > acid damage.

But it change Celestial Presence from -33% Phys/Fire RR to Vitality/Acid too.
Is this exclusive for this skill?

Because there are many other damage conversion items like beronath reforged
that converts all chaos and elemental damage to physical.

Does it change the RR skill like Curse of Frailty with Vulnerability too for example?

Vulnerability has -30% Elemental resist, but the beronath reforged converts the elemental dmg to physical. So i have -30% Physical resist now?

There are many other items with global dmg conversions like Gladiator Belt and Blood Orb of Chton.

That would be a game changer!

It’s only this skill, exclusive, yes. No other skill is affected by conversion from what we (or rather I) know.

Also, if all conversion would apply to RR, some builds would reach even 300% RR.

Man, you’re overthinking

I think it’s called wishful thinking. Get your facts straight. Sheesh.

  1. Skill Transmuters only affect the the whole skill line connected to it. The same applies to skill mods, though there are some exceptions like skill mods for the blood of dreeg. As the skill is a buff, a skill mod that coverts your damage will apply to all your damage so long as the skill is active.

  2. Conversion will not affect RR or damage%, this is simple an unstated side effect of a Transmuter.

I know that Conversion will not affect RR overall, but Scion of Dreeg converts only the damage “AND” RR. Its the same dmg conversion like blood orb or beronath, That is why Im confused

Its a special thing  but ty mates

It’s new tech that has been only used on the Guardian of Empyrion transmuter. To make it work with other sources, they would have to go back and add the new tech to them, and i don’t see that happening.

And rebalance the whole damn game

Agreed that the description should be improved to explain that the RR transmutation is specifically given by the skill though, otherwise new players that happen to play OK first will probably think that every transmutation works that way. Hopefully it will be done before release (remember we still didn’t see the finished product).
