Hell yeah, that would be great.
I like it, remind me of the dreamkiller (dream/rogue) class.
Of course the action seems hectic, because of every effects, light and the fact we aren’t playing.
So next video will be on quest dialogues and choices?
of course you can shoot them out of the air
where else would projectiles be ?
This video will get us more members and supporters.
Good Job, Crate! Love the video <3
Spread the link guys, do eet!
Do you guys also think the action bar gets too much in the way or is it just me? I would like to see an action bar simpler and smaller… feels like too much staff is going on there.
i’m really diggin’ those effects and colours (bar some too small projectiles), remind me of soulstorm, proper eerie & grimdark and all that jazz, you know…
the overall flow seems very smooth and that track makes for really good combat music. what is that spell that looks like a summoning circle that seemed to do the grunt work on that flesh hulk? and will the hellhounds be able to hold more aggro or does the occultist get another pet for that?
dunno about the sound, but what i agree on with insanity is i’m missing scary/characteristic monster sounds (growls, pain sounds etc.) - the hellhounds seemed awfully silent. also weapon- and hit sounds seem too flimsy, not saturated enough - does that make sense? guess my comparison would be diablo 2, yikes, help me out here insanity…
geez, i’m bad at praising stuff and being overly critical, hope you don’t mind… :undecided:
Nice to see that the video is getting out there. It’s on RPS now.

Edit: and look who is first to comment
Who would that be???

Awesome video! The gameplay looks fantastic. I can’t wait to play now and will definitely upgrade to legendary or purchase a second key now, I NEED to play this.
However:
Totally agreed. And based on the comments on YouTube, others agree too this is an area of focus. I’d like something smaller, less obtrusive, minimal, off-load non ability hot bar items (menu items) to a keybind or small menu tree system in a corner.
its good to see the game getting a lot of publicity, which is awesome as its well and truly deserved
I do also feel the health and mana bars could be reworked a tab, but overall I do like the HUD in general
One word : cool !
It’s hard to wait this game
I know, its hard to wait, but we must, Im begging to the devs to release it, but they still need to do a few more things I guess before the alpha release is ready. but seeing the awesome game in action, just makes it harder to wait for it
Congratulations, awesome video, looks way better than anything I have seen on the pictures and also better than anything I can remember from TQ although it was a good game. Take your time and this will be a real gem on the arpg horizon.
That is one super pretty game.
Things I especially liked:
- Highlighted enemies! I can’t believe nobody thought of that before, it’s brilliant, and excellent, and good job.
- Animated character portrait, eh? Very Doom, I like it.
- The graphics! The animation looks amazing, great colors, very smooth and attractive.
- Looks like quite a variety of skills, and that’s never a bad thing.
Things I didn’t like:
- Where’s the minimap? I hope it was just turned off; I get lost on the way to the grocery, never mind in video games.
- It was kinda hard to make out the details in the video - any chance of 1080p next time?
I’m rather excited now, this already looks better than Diablo 3.
Really like the video. Fog looks great.
Love when on 1:50 zombies swarm from the house.
Small things I noticed.
-When firing the gun, there is no punch, or how to call it. He should move a little hand when firing.
-Second thing the boss charge, looks somehow strange. The charge at you, and when comes close, moves his arm to hit you. Would it not be better looking if when charging, his head should be already in position to strike. Sory, i dont know how better to say it.
-MORE BLOOOD on ground in air, everywhere.
Love the colors of spells, especially the red one with black edges.
The biggest problem (for me) i have with the video is that game really looks good, so i think i will not be able to run it on my crapy comp (that could run TQ on medium).
Recoil
I agree it would make the guns look more powerful if they made the character’s hand snap upward briefly when fired.
Nothing to say besides that it looks quicker and as smooth as Titan Quest. I also think that enemy AI looks a bit more agressive. I like the zombie swarms
Great
I love it, the difficulty seems just perfect!
Thanks for posting that. I like what I’m seeing, and continue to look forward to getting something playable in the future.
I like the red outline around the targets. But nothing wrong with an option to disable it.
I agree, the colours are a bit loud. I’d reduce the saturation a bit - maybe just for me in the graphic options. Perhaps it is an issue with your settings on the machine you used for recording the video …
What skills can we see in the video?
- button 8: Obviously a buff. The same icon is displayed above the health bar throughout the video. Is this causing the purple effect on the pistol? Hits result in a red flash on the target. Is this the Witchfire Enchantment?
- button 7: Not used in this video, is it? Is this an alternative buff, which would cancel the one from button 8? (Like Bulwark and Vanguard from the Combat mastery?)
- button 6: Raven
- Has a ranged lightning attack.
- Why is it burning sometimes? That’s not the Hellfire Aura of the Hellhounds, is it?
- The icon is often visible above the health bar. The familiar buffs you - what is its effect?
[li]button 5: Hellhound with fully unlocked skill tree[/li]
[li]button 4: Apparently not used during the video, but the icon appears above the health bar from time to time. Is it another buff with a passive effect, that is triggered at random? And what is it doing?[/li]
[li]button 3: Chaos Bolts[/li]
[li]button 2: Sigil of Destruction - the big pentacle on the ground.[/li]
[li]button 1: We see some AOE debuff when pentacles appear above a group of enemies. The icon suggests this skill is used with guns.[/li]
[li]Sometimes you throw something green. Is that on your right mouse button, or a passive, which is triggered at random?[/li]
