Is there any new information on the boxed edition? Been awhile since anything seems to have been said.

Yeah… It’s been slow going, although it seems to always take forever to work through any sort of agreement like this, so this isn’t really that unusual. I just sent out another email though, basically saying we need to make this happen ASAP or I’m going to find another way to do it.

how many hurdles are left too take? 
I guess this answers the question I came for: I received the foldout paper map quite awhile ago, but still waiting for the box. Is there any sense at all of when it might be ready?

You would be better, any thoughts here post\put forward their developers, not this shit been discussed!!! for example, they tend to do the second part of the game, more content future expansions, monsters, ETHEREAL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, SO did the SECOND PART of the GAME!!! WOULD VOTE ON THE FORUM, I KNEW HOW, I WOULD, BUT I DON’T KNOW WHO WANTS TO HAVE A SEQUEL, DARK DAWN 2!!! I EVEN CAME UP WITH THE NAME, GRIM DAWN:BLACK LEGION!!!

Any news on the boxed version from kickstarter? Last I heard it was expected Q1 2017. It’s officially past Q1, so just curious about status.

I guess it may depend on what’s actually being included in the boxed set. From the blurb for the $100 tier it says you get the “First expansion DLC free when released” - so is that the Crucible or the upcoming expansion? And would the upcoming expansion be included in the box set or only available as DLC? If included, then they’ll be delayed until the expansion is released and debugged.
Crucible was another option (goal). It’s not “first expansion”

I’d been working on a deal with a certain publisher for several months, 53 emails back and forth, then when it seemed like we’d ironed out all the details and agreed on terms, they went silent. That was in Jan. and, despite a couple attempts, I haven’t gotten a response since.
This is actually not that unusual given my past experience with publishers. Took 3 years to sign the deal for Titan Quest and we ended up with the publisher we least expected to sign us.
Anyway, I’ve started working with another company that is not a publisher but specializes in creating all manner of physical goods and can do boxed editions. They seem much more responsive and it sounds like we may be able to get this done before the end of summer.
Tbh, I forgot I was even getting one and now I want it. Like yesterday!

Even though I’m eagerly awaiting it, I’m not even sure what I’ll do with it anymore. It will probably join my collection of other boxed sets in the closet; my priorities have a changed a bit since I made the purchase haha. However, it will close the loop on this epic development and my participation (outside of playing the game and buying future DLCs).
I’d be glad to take it off your hands. Just divert your delivery address to mine.
Should you prefer to keep yours, does anyone know if boxed copies will be available for purchase to those unfortunate souls who couldn’t afford this option during the Kickstarter era? Some of us have since become billionaire$.

Crate haven’t said. They are a Kickstarter item so I guess it may depend on how many other people might want to one buy compared to how expensive it may be to produce more copies than needed to fulfill the Kickstarter.

will the Ashes of Malmouth DLC be included in the Legendary-pre purchase (Before Kickstarter campaign)? Not that I am expecting that, but I did not fully understand the difference between Loyal edition and Legendary!?

If you did not upgrade your Legendary Edition during the Kickstarter or via Humble, then you are not eligible for the expansion. If you upgraded, then you find a key for the expansion at https://www.humblebundle.com/home/purchases > Grim Dawn.
