So here I am trying to make a minimal level Desecrator Pet build (lvl 72 min.) lowest lvl Desecrator Pets no-augments. Epic gear.

I’m thinking…ok, this might be something that could work for transition from elite to much of ultimate or whatever at lvl 70ish. Just to see if I can make something practical out of the set.

Then I look at the Legendary and discover that you can do better at lvl 68 !!! with Legendary Beastcaller set and so on.

And I’ll bet that it’s probably as hard to find the full Covenant set. :man_shrugging:

You gotta wonder at the blue logic, sometimes.

But yeah set still looks like something you sell to vendor, if you accidentally pick it.

I suspect this kind of inequality of level requirement for shoddy epic equipment may just be a hold-over from the vanilla game where there were originally less legendaries. Or maybe this set has always been crappy.

But if it was available at perhaps lvl 50, then it might be a fun set to track down. The lvl 72 minimal set has fairly dismal bonuses, for a lvl 72. Particulary when the lvl 68 legendary has a lot of the same bonuses as the lvl 94 version.

TLDR: Some blues (epic sets) might be better with lower level requirements so they become interesting at earlier characters levels.
