Hi everyone, been playing Grim Dawn Alpha for a few weeks now and thought it was about time to introduce myself.

As a 71 year old Geriatric gamer I have played most of the classics and find Grim Dawn much to my liking, I have even dumped playing D3.

I am not too keen on the new darker look but hell, I can live with that! I simply boost the gama setting on my monitor.

My only niggle is that the Stalwart Guardian and other pets sometimes prevent you from opening treasure chests by getting in the way and it can be a real pain to move them out of the way.

All in all, well done you guys at Crate, you now seem to have a very stable platform and a very playable game, can’t wait for the rest to be released!

I thought I was the only one having issues with pets getting in the way of opening chests!

Lol, I doubt very much that we are alone with the pet problem. Thanks for your welcome.

Hello, welcome! Even though it can be annoying clicking, ctrl-clicking, on your pet will quickly move them out of the way.

I have this issue in every game I play with pets. Drives me crazy!

i played D3 for a while too, but, this BoA thing seems to be the last straw for me.

i also will never support an online only game again, gotta have offline mode to get my money (or be free like PoE)
