On a controller how do i assign more skills?

game is on xbox, and i only see button mappings for A,X,B,Y,dpad l/r, RT
that leaves 3 slots in the assign skill menu that have no button prompt.

given the amount of skills that can be used in this game, how do i map to those, or more?
like a modifier perhaps?

Go to Options > Controller to enable additional buttons.

There is no modifier button, but you have two Quickbars.
