On (being) hit proc limits

Hi,

I’ve searched the forums for a bit, but couldn’t find an answer: what happens when I have over 100% of things triggered when my character is being hit?

In my case, I have Spear of the Heavens (50%) and Hyrian’s glare (30%) tied to permanent buffs, and then 2 or 3 different “% on hit” effects from gear.

Does it all get scaled down to 100% so there’s only ever one effect per my char getting hit, like with WPS skills? Is there perhaps a separate pool of proc chance for devotions (which are tied to skills) separate from equipment procs?

There’s no way it works like that, it would have been discovered by now. The reason WPS stack to 100% and are dependent on each other is the fact your character cannot physically perform two WPS animations at the same time. Meanwhile there’s no issue in proccing 2 devos at the same time after being hit.

Yeah pretty sure ypu can even proc 2 of the same buffs they all have separate proc chances
