All this people have been playing Grim for year and more, making builds for Cruci, superbosses and SR. They can see clearly when there is a weak build and when it’s a bug
So please leave your explanations about difficult in SR. After FG release all this people have gone 75-80
Leave you idea about Valaxteria shield - it works only 5 sec (should be). And build that run Cruci for 4:30 can’t kill Vala for 1.5m. You are joking?
Octavius vids are made whith the same build that achieved 75 SR in the first day of FG
That’s what I’m talking about It’s not about buffs or nerfs
I faced unknown oneshotes after 3 hotfix. I faced it once - ok, bad luck. I faced it twice - hm, strange. I faced it in the third time then discovered that I’m not the only one who faced this
I have been finding human type enemies with high elemental res a pain in the ass against Ulzuin Canister. Canister main thing is to shotgun, which hardly happens with small targets, and it gets worse when those targets have high fire resistance.
You also get doubled RR by Reaper when Kaisan one shotted you. I have been saying all this time that Reaper RR stacking is absolutely ridiculous and completely broken.
Interesting videos,Gabal is super hard hitter in SR.In Vala wave she or the other boss have damage reduction,if you been hit by the comet.Sometimes I see on this wave or the three stooges wave 163 my sheet dps going from 200k to 40k,which is absurd and hence the time.Still one shot is painful.I often delete my fails, but recently suffered one shot from Alex in Crucible,no not from his meteor, from the close ranged PRM.Deathmarked is so fine in that regard-every shadow strike in Zantarin shotgun results in just a scratch:cool:
Big fan of the lack of grimtools so we can’t see the stats of your characters and just have to assume these ‘not a crits’ are, in fact, not crits.
Gabal’thun -> Not a oneshot. You had 9.1k hp when you were struck by one of his multiprojectile projectiles while debuffed and within Gabal’s DA reduction aura.
Ishtal -> Struck by the RR of his disengage before being struck by the damage from the leap.
Reaper -> Have both instances of Reaper’s stacking RR and a DA debuff on you and then struck by Kaisan’s lightning bolt.
Valaxteria/Enemy Unknown -> Play Arcanist/use Ulo, Keeper of the Waters.
The oneshots seemed like your PC skipped frames, but the videos with you dealing no damage seem like files would be fucked. Verify your game files, and would be also good to check if your PC doesn’t skip frames, as it sometimes causes the game(s) to ignore a particular event from games. My examples are: 27k from Aleksander’s meteor while 2650 armor, 30% physical resist and all resists overcapped by at least 30, multiple other 10k hits even though my resists are great, leveling up from ~30 to 67 in Titan Quest, dealing 200k damage even though you pull off 10k DPS (happened today) or teleporting my characters meters way while just running to talk to an npc (got trapped in a cage in Devil’s Crossing while trying to talk to stashguy, walking ON a palisade in Divine Divinity, completely ignoring any kind of physics in many games, for example walking through walls in Devil’s Crossing).
Frame skipping is fun, but sometimes annoying too.
Edit: Ceno is right with the Gabal part - one of his projectiles did over 9k damage.
He is doing single diggit burning stack on that well, superboss. Like a crit doing 4 dmg. four. I remember i had once Sentinel spawned in high resist gear - spend two minutes with LD vindi to take him down.
Took my pets that deal around 300k DPS (don’t know exactly how much DPS they have, maybe even more than that) about 1 minute to kill this motherfucker. Over 130 RR, about 1700% pet damage, critting every other hit, 140% crit damage… And yeah, I was curious wtf, if I cancelled buffs and everything, checked GT… yeah… xD
Build have around 3200 DA . Gabal’thun max - da around 450 and have 2600 OA. Where another source of -150 DA for crit??
HOW ONE multiprojectile have 9k dmg?
That isn’t true. The bloodsplosion happens when you take a certain value of damage that’s proportional to your base health. I believe the number is 1.25x your maximum health pool.
Usually death to a crit results in ragdolling, but not necessarily.
Expert.
Edit: I was wrong about the number but correct about the mechanic. Perhaps the number has changed since I last checked…
Dmt’s explanation may be a bit hectic, but the point she (as well as other people who participated in gathering this feedback) wants to make is there was an unexplainable jump in difficulty in high-end content since (presumably) Hotfix 3, because the very same builds were having it much easier just before. Since there’s nothing in Hotfix 3 that could suggest dramatic tweaks to enemies I concluded this is very likely a bug and suggested they made this thread. It isn’t something individual because multiple people feel the same.
