Only 1 skill point for The Hidden Path on Ultimate?

I used the ultimate merit to open all difiiculties but I only did the hidden path quest on ultimate. it only gave me 1 skill point.

I think I did get the first runestone on elite, but did not progress it from there.

I thought the patch notes said you would get the skill points for elite and normal if you did it on ultimate?

Merit Tokens and how they work

Merits give you the skill/attribute points from quests on lower difficulties so you had those right at the start when you skipped up to Ultimate.

The points you refer to are for people moving up after they’ve killed Loghorrean on Normal. That’s not the same as using the merit tokens to skip which work differently.
