Opponents in Crucible - Need some help from regular Crucible players

The title says it; I need some some informations about opponents spawning in Crucible 150 - 170 because I don´t play Crucible very often and so have no clue about this topic.

I want to know if the following opponents can spawn Always, Sometimes or Never, for my own private research. After this it would be great to know, how many Undead and Cthonians spawns are there during trash waves and which kind of Undead/Cthonians (e g. Skeletons/Ghosts, Obsidian/other Cthonics).

Here is the list of opponents:

  • Bloodfeast the Ruthless
  • Gannar´Vakkar
  • Baros Wradlith
  • Grand Priest Zarthuzellan
  • Gutworm
  • Handarroth
  • Rolderathis
  • Kilrian
  • Namadea, the Screecher
  • Noveria Stormfire (as Undead)
  • Ollivoth
  • Trapped Wraith
  • Wraith of Sorrow
  • Yuvolloth
  • Risen Stone, Temple Guardian
  • Heralds (of the Stars, of Destruction; I am fairly sure they don´t spawn…)

Thanks for any help.

Well nowadays I only know 151-170 and even then most enemies get ignored except nemeses, 159, 169, MQ and 163. But I’ll try my best.

Take note that spawns have been adjusted with the last patch. I noticed sister crimson now spawns on 164 and 165 spawns were replaced by animals.

The only ones I know that spawn: Zarthu always at 157 (if it wasn’t changed). One of Handarroth, Olivioth, Yuvolloth spawns on 162 alongside Mad queen. In my experience, Olivioth spawns more often. namadea spawns sometimes on 159 and 165. Temple guardian spawns sometimes on 159 (or 160?). Heralds have been removed from cruci a long time ago since everyone hated them not moving from their spawn points.

The other either don’t spawn in high waves or are too insignificant to be remembered. Take note that all of them spawn in cruci at some point in the lower waves (1-100). IIRC, every mob in the game spawns in cruci except those from the ancient grove. And celestials

Based on the questions I can infer that this is about tweaking your bleed buikd for cruci :stuck_out_tongue: most of those guys are bleed resistant

You will never see me play Crucible in earnest.
And if I do it with my Trickster, these guys wouldn´t be a great problem because of high RR.

But you are right; I am looking at the number of opponents with high Bleeding Resistance in Crucible 150 to 170. Thanks for your help!

Instead of doing that, look at the generally dangerous guys in cruci, then from them look at which has high bleed res. Way easier. Most of those guys you listed are insignificant to a fully decked-out build, which I know you have given you played that trickster before I was even born :stuck_out_tongue:

Hehe, guess, what I have done before this?

I know the Bleeding Resistances of all Hard-Hitters (in fact, I know the Bleeding Resistances of all Nemesis and Bosses…I have too much time…).

Well since you play only bleeding, it’s beneficial to know Nemesis resistances . But the biggest problem in Crucible is the combination between hard hitter/enemy with significant high resistance. Like Kuba for cold builds or Grava for lightning.

From listed, I can see only Temple Guardians as problem in Crucible. But I play almost exclusively 150-170 so don’t meet most of these guys.

I am not interested in lower waves. A full endgear build should make it to 150 (when not piloted by me :joy:).

And there is no Hard Hitter/High Resistance Nemesis for Bleeding Builds. So I have to take a look at the other opponents.

Off the top of my head I don’t ever recall seeing these guys in 150-170. I know for certain others spawn and some are a case of not really knowing. I’d have to delve into the DBRs to check.

Bloodfeast the Ruthless
Gannar´Vakkar
Gutworm
Rolderathis
Kilrian
Wraith of Sorrow
Heralds (of the Stars, of Destruction; I am fairly sure they don´t spawn…)

Thanks. These you quoted are not in 150 - 170, right?

Most of your list aren’t present in 150-170, yes.

Good to know. Thanks again.

If you dont mind me branching in here, guys, does anybody know what mechanic makes reaper regain health very quickly at low life? My third char is aether based so its first time i see reaper staying alive for so long. Is there any common enemy that gives reaper such buff? He is the only problem for my build

Checking on grimtools he has a 8%maxhp+2X,XXX heal cast on a 22s interval

Thats a small number with big downtime. The thing sometimes literally stops to drop health. With -97% res applied. I feel like thats someones cast applied but everything happens too fast and i dont have knowledge yet to figure it out myself.

he also gets 35% absorption when he dips below 50%, his wraiths reduce your damage by 40%, could be fumbles involved from someone else etc.
