when you open the pause menu (mouse/g/esc) and then use the ‘return to game’ button without ever having gone to the actual options/settings the button for the options menu will seem deactivated. it can be “activated” by clicking on it or pressing the hotkey (g). this does not happen when you just use the escape key or go to settings before returning to the game.
