Hello,
I’ve been theorycrafting physical builds lately to prepare for FG, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with this combo.
Markovian’s Bulwark gives +200% (let’s say we’re using Mythical Colossal Grasp, too, for +350%) and some flat physical damage to Overguard.
The full set gives you a chance to reduce all cooldowns by 1 second. This, combined with Markovian’s Defense, means you could theorically have 100% uptime on Overguard, with the nice damage bonus it gets from your gear, but with that -18% total damage. My question is, would it be worth it?
Obviously the answer would depend on how much %physical damage you have from other sources, which is why I’m posting here: has anyone have any success with such a build? Or is there just no way to make it compensate that -18% total damage?
Plus with overguard you have more Targo’s hammer out dealing damage and stealing life for you.
Use the method above to figure out if you gain or loose damage with your set-up. You can also include the increase in flat damage but is is trickier, this method gives a conservative value though.
This build does what you say, also some other things but you can ignore that. Permanent overguard works and spawns a hilarious number of hammers if you get shield recovery time to 100%.
It was pure luck, didn’t go looking for it. It works just as well with an ordinary +1 skills belt to be honest.
FG adds a significant part of retalliation damage to targo’s hammer, that should be good news for this build. Probably need to switch belt to gain more retalliation, so much for that nice rare heh.
