Parameters that are changed by difficulty

There are 4 difficulties, standard, veteran, elite and ultimate. When I open some database files and check the values of the game that are changed by difficulty (char resistances, mobs defense etc) there aren’t just 4 values but 12. There are 3 values (sometimes they are the same, other times they differ) for each difficulty. How does it work?

I’m not entirely sure but my suspicion has been that they are separated in Three Acts, but the ‘Act’ system isn’t really used in GD, so it’s probably just a leftover from TQ.

I’d love a more concrete/definitive answer to this, too.

4 values per difficulty, based on # of players present.
