What a great but tough game!
You should perhaps add more options to the Peaceful mode: I am ok with boars or wolfs attacking villagers and buildings, but I don’t want to fight against robber hordes trying to ruin my small town!
Our modern societies are violent enough already! Please don’t add more violence, killings, in the game!
The option is there at game start (as in for a new map): Pacifist (except that you don’t get wolves/boars/bears as well as not having to deal with raiders)
And that lack of wolves, boars, and bears penalizes us as to food. We who play Pacifist mode should at least have bears, boars, and wolves, which can be coped with without soldiers. I’ve done it many times playing not in Pacifist mode. But I really don’t like messing with the raids. If we can’t have bears, boars, and wolves, then we should be compensated somehow for not having recourse to these extra and abundant supplies of food.
You are compensated. You don’t have your villagers spending their time reacting to animals and raids. You don’t have raiders running off with your meat.
