Downloaded and installed today. No mods. The tutorial needs a lot of work. I’m button mashing to find out what works. Started three games so far. The first was just to get to know the icons. The second I ended because my people went away. They showed up in professions, but they weren’t at their jobs. The third I just ended because my laborers stopped laboring. IE no resource collection. Then they went to shelters, but in the shelter they were listed as Looking For Shelter then died of exposure. This is my favorite genre and I’m very disappointed so far. I’ll give it a few days before reviewing on Steam.
Did you have enough firewood in your shelters so your people won’t freeze to death? Shelters alone aren’t enough to save them. Your laborers can only collect wood, stone and berries. You can use the “H” key and drag your mouse over an area you want them to collect.
