So on one of the last dev streams, Zantai mentioned that one of the contributing factors to getting new mythic version of old items added is having the fans ask enough for them. So with that, I give you the Perdition Petition. In hopes that others feel the same as me and want a new badass version of this set sooner than later. It was such a great pre-expansion set, and I’d love to see it come back better than ever. Especially with all the fun new bits and bobs to aid poison and retaliation builds.
Also, since this is about getting some old toys a new shine, there is one other item I want to mention in this. An underrated gun called Will Of Fate. Not that amazing of a weapon at first glance, but I encourage you to give it a shot with transmuted primal strike. Have fun with that.
If y’all have any other items you want to see get noticed and mythic’d, make a post and let me know. And hopefully this will get enough traction to give these items a new life, better and stronger than before.
Plenty of Empowered items have Mythical versions, so I doubt that’d be much of a factor.
I actually think Perdition has a reasonably good chance of getting an upgrade. It’s a unique set, people have asked for it before, people have asked for more acid support before, there’s a new constellation with an acid retaliation node, Zantai has already confirmed that at least one non-Mythical set is getting an upgrade, he also said that FG is making retaliation more interesting, and Perdition being a shield+retaliation set would definitely fit the theme of the new shield mastery we’re (most likely) getting.
If we’re ever gonna get a Mythical Perdition set, I feel like now is the time.
Perdetion always drops for me so I bet it has high drop rates for everyone and many people own it. I agree it must have a mythical version so it does not just end as trash
