I’ve been a bit disappointed with the lack of information out there on certain game mechanics since I expected that people have been testing things left and right. Maybe I’m just not looking the right places. Anyone know how the Familiar’s Mend Flesh ability works? I sometimes see it heal my pets out of combat but I don’t notice anything in combat. One guy said putting it to “Defensive” will make it heal you when you drop below 75% HP but he didn’t sound too sure about that, and it still doesn’t explain much. Does it prefer to heal you and your pets even in combat if you put it to defensive as long as anyone is below 75%, and prioritize it over Lightning Strike? How about if you put its aggressiveness to Normal?
I have 1 point in mend flesh, and +2 to all skills. I’m considering putting 2 points more in it so it’s at 5, a breakpoint where it heals 7%. But I also have Aetherfire bound to it. Should I go for the 7% AoE healing, or maybe ditch it entirely for more basic attacks that can proc Aetherfire? If choosing the healing, will it still be used well if I put it to normal aggressiveness so it can proc Aetherfire? Perhaps Normal heals you when you drop below 50%? Any info is appreciated!
