So you need 18 pets at once to unlock Pet Hoarder. What counts as a pet for this achievement? Is it just summons that scale with Pet bonuses, or do “summons” like runes/thermite mines count as well?
Pretty sure it’s anything that you (i.e. your skills, your gear, your constellations) use to create a friendly game object that attacks your enemies. I got it on my cabalist with 9 skeletons from Raise Skeletons, Blight Fiend, Familiar, Hellhound, Revenant (from the grimoire of og’nopesh), 3 spirits from Bonescavenger’s Deathgrips, and the last 2 must have come from Raise the Dead (from the Revenant constellation).
A pretty handy spread of sources, yeah?
I just got it in multiplayer on accident haha.
Same here I guess it “may” count both/all player total.
Also the Thermine Mine have a delay before disapearing meaning that if you drop two at your feet and drop two far away while they are in the air they seem to count giving you 12 Active Pet (3 per cast)
Only explanation I have for getting in in a 2 Player game with 2 Sorcerer
Did a test in multiplayer.
Pets are counted per player.
Pseudo-pets are considered as pets for this achievements.
My friend got achievement with his Purifier by spamming runes and thermites.
I didn’t get achievement even though I was Cabalist and “contributed” 12 summons.
