Phantasmal blades is too weak as a skill

Why would I waste all my skill points and gear just to make PB better than Acid purge, when I can get AP for free and have all my skill points and gear free to be used for other skills?

I’m interested to use this skill and this skill alone. Why can’t I use this skill? I don’t want other skills, this is the one that I want to include in my potentially lousy build.

Based on other comments made here, my best advice for you is to get off grimtools and play the game. See for yourself whether Acid Purge is so strong (spoiler: it isn’t) or whether Phantasmal Blades is so weak (spoiler: it isn’t).
