Physical -> Chaos witchblade question

So a paltry 15% conversion for 3 skill points seems almost not worth it. 10% from Symbol of Solael, but i’m having trouble finding other sources.

Is this even a viable strategy? I’m going for the tanky chaos-dot-proc character, and i had wild success with this going 1h/S conjurer, but figured soldier would be a better more intuitive choice than shaman- except if i can only convert 25% of my damage i’m not sure if that’s worth it.

is there a better way to go about it? or should i just ignore the stat and stack chaos damage.

Abomination converts a large chunk. Other than that, items. Witchstalkers will convert it, if you’d like to use on or two…I got a couple to roll with 18% conversion, dual wielded with Mark on each until I hit 75 and slapped the Harbinger set on.

As for ignoring the stat…You can, yes, if you’d like. I didn’t find a ton of Flat Chaos sources, but plenty of Flat Phys, so I’ve been focusing on conversion. I wasn’t planning on a Shield or a 1H though, so perhaps there are legendaries to consider that would aid you. I have been told Exterminus is useful.

wow Abomination is a great tip. i’m using Damnation 1h axe and love it for this build (every 1h i see says lose like 5-8k dps lol).

Riftstone is giving 10% phys to chaos conversion, flat chaos dmg, and chaos strike.

If you want to have totally OP chaos WB stack abominations abominable might with dying gods hungering void, when both procs active you should have something like this:

Rhowari Void Rings convert between 8 to 12%
Weapons can convert around 12 to 18%
Riftstone and Symbol of Soalel 10%
Then 15% for 3 skill points

I wish Abominable Might procced on Attack or crit. Having it proc on enemy death makes it worthless against bosses and Nemesis.

Whoa! Awesome combo actually…
