Physical Pet Dmg to Chaos or Vitality?

TL;DR: Is it possible to convert all % physical pet dmg (all of them) to chaos or vitality? If so how? Is it better to scale pet chaos/vit dmg or All pet dmg after the conversion?

Hi guys. I have 300+ hrs on GD and loving it more i play. Unfortunately, lack of a pet calculator is driving me crazy with my build tryouts.

I have a level 86 Ritualist (Shammy + Necro) currently at the end of Elite.
Build link: This is the latest version and is only for test. This is the old version.

My pets are: Briathorn and Primal Spirit (temporary) of Shammy’s, Necro’s skellies, and Blight Fiend, and Skeletal servant from the relic.
I read DaShiv’s Pet Damage Mechanics and I wanna focus on only 1 dmg type for my pets and that is Physical dmg conversion to something since it’s shared among almost all the pets.

So my questions are:

  1. Is it possible to permanently convert 100% of the physical pet dmg to chaos or vitality? Since i cant stack phys dmg for pets.
  2. Does Voidwhisper band’s exclusive skill “Whisper of the Void’s” conversion is for all the time or only when the skill procced?
  3. Same question as for Glyph of Kelpath’Zoth?
  4. What happens when Unholy Covenant set’s perma 50% conversion is added by some temporary conversion buffs?
And finally, 5) Is there an efficient way to do this damn conversion, or am I doomed to ditch this char too? xD

Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance

Also, is conversion in general bugged?

Sorry for many posts, but the forum forced me to make 3 posts to share links.

There is no need to ever ditch a character. You can totally respect the shaman/necromancer into another idea.

The Dirge pet is pretty useless at the moment; it’s supposed to be fixed in the next patch. For now you’d be better off with Ancestor.

As for your questions:

2 & 3. when procced
4. if you go over 100% conversion the types are weighted
6. is conversion bugged - not that I’ve noticed

1 and 5… meh. It’s easy enough to just stack all damage; you shouldn’t really need to worry about pet damage types unless you’re dealing with very high-end content, or constructing a very specialized build.

Yes, I am trying to make it great again xD Even though there are no good sets for it.

I am planning to farm nemesis mobs and high end crucible content.
Thanks for the answers and heads up for the dirge pet.
