Picking attributes while leveling a build?

Just wondering how people pick their attributes while leveling a new build. I’m currently leveling an alt and not following a guide, just wanting to have some fun. Not sure how I should treat my attributes however and I do the build. I know you can go full phys but you also need spirit for jewelry, and some people also put some points into cunning for OA.

I’m at a bit of a loss on how I should think about what to do with mine.

Have enough Cunning and Spirit to equips items and put everything else in Physique.

also make sure to factor in what you would get from the mastery tree, devotions and such when you are doing this.
you may not need to put any points in cunning/spirit in your final build, even though you may need to while levelling.

I usually sit on my point. Honestly it doesn’t seem to make that much of an impact (considering everyone drop everything in Physique it either me Physique is Overpowered or all stat suck and Physique is the less bad of the 3). Then if I need a couple of point in a stat I’m gonna pump it a bit to cover equipment requirement

Ok, so basically get the points into my mastery bars first before I start deciding any of my attribute points?

I don’t know what gear I will get/use at “end game” which is why I’m slightly hesitant to waste any. I’m only in normal (veteran) atm. Should I wait until Elite to put any points in?

There is about a 99% chance that putting point in Physique won’t be wasted cause it is the stat you gonna dump any remaining point in the end.
For the rest it depend on the build you probly can drop a 10/15 points in Spirit on caster build (for the best off-hand mostly) without too much worry.

Around Fort Ikon in Elite I start holding points a bit, keeping ten or so back in case I find some gear piece that needs a couple into Spirit or Cunning. Be aware of what your masteries generally give you, though. Arcanist, Occultist, both of those give a LOT of Spirit, so you should never need any points into that for gear if you’re going deep into those two. Same with Nightblade and Cunning I’m told.
