Please Someone HELP ME..

Hey dawners I have a couple questions and I would really appreciate if someone or some of you give me step by step instructions as to how I can transfer all my character files, My transfer stash files , and all my progress as well as items I collected to my Grim dawn Local folders , instead of using cthe default cloud directory. The reason I need in depth instructions is because I am about to go without internet for some time , and I want to continue my progress OFFLINE SINGLEPLAYER on steam offline, yet still have access to everything . Like progression, and loot in my shared stash and MULES that I use to stash items. Please and thank you.

Oh yeah , btw as of right now I am using Cloud saving…

Saying all that brings me to ask this question. I was curious one day and I started Steam in offline mode (My internet was still connected) and when I launched grim dawn in offline mode all my characters and stashes were available offlibe. So guys does that mean it doesn’t matter if I have cloud enabled or not , will I still have access to all my things / progession in offline mode?

Please help and thank you guys

Your local files are under C:\username\My Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main.

Turn off cloud saving in both Steam and in the options in game. Back up the local save file and then you should have all your stuff. Back up regularly when playing so you don’t lose any progress/loot/etc if something happens while playing.

More detailed info of what’s where with the game save files and how to move between them just here http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20752

When you ran Steam in offline more it doesn’t change where Steam puts the save games, it just means that Steam doesn’t sync its local saves with the Steam cloud until you put Steam back into online mode.

As medea fleecestealer has said, to change the storage location from Steam to Grim Dawn’s local saves you need to disable Cloud Saving in Grim Dawn’s settings.

Please ask if you have any other questions and Good Luck
