I just discovered my bakery suddenly stopped working, because the heavy tools at the mill had vanished. Loading an older save showed that the equipment was at 25%, so I figured out it ultimately broke down.
This is fine as a feature, but it would help if you got some kind of popup informing you when heavy tools are almost worn out, so you know you’ll have to be on the lookout for them before you lose them completely. I’m still at level 2, so I need merchants to supply these things, and now I have to wait and hope someone sells them next year, while a big part of my food production suddenly halts. That has a huge impact.
