As far as I understand this is that NA (nothing) is getting consumed by the settled houses as if those would there would be a shelter icon in that used by: and it’s almost end of the year. The lost this year: is also bigger than gained this year: so makes think some of those lost ones are left overs from last or previous years (Determined on how long this stuff lasts?).
And yeah I understand that makes sense to consume the resources which go bad fastest at first
but also would make sense to consume at least some of the resources which last good for very long time at some point?
Or am I doing the food mechanic possibly somehow not very wisely? Makes me think am I simply gathering too much other stuff so they leave lots of stuff to go bad??
Is the bug simply that there should be a shelter icon in the NA as the report shows consumed is: 558?
So “lost this year” is not actually lost like in the sense of going bad but it means just that its lost because its getting used up? get it? As those numbers are exact same and they are also same in the fruit one.
But that still sounds weird as for example other food like smoked meat has used by: Shelters, temporary shelter and market
But if you mean that just because it’s used by only one Building then why raw meat has just used by: Shelter in it? Some consistency would be nice in this unless I am misunderstand something?
Sorry, not in front of computer. Consistency would be good, if other food shows its used by shelters, etc. than this should too. But your initial question was whether the preserves were being consumed. I simply wanted to point out that the N/A didn’t apply to consumption in that manner.
