Potential bug: potion buffs remain even after changing the modifiers

Have a mod for iron bits on one of the potions. That one lasts for 300 seconds.
Use the potion, get the buff.

Use the cauldron, change modifiers to anything else (I used one for %HP as a barrier + 30 seconds of life leech).
Use the potion again.
You now have two buffs from current mods + 290 seconds remaining of iron bits buff.

This feels like an exploit that shouldn’t be there.
I wonder if it’s intended or not.

I see that too, swapping Phillom for Ventorus. Surely unintended? It’s a pretty tedious gameplay loop.

Minmaxers could go bonkers with it.
I still haven’t unlocked all the modifiers yet, so don’t know the true potential, but porting to town every 5 minutes to refresh the 300% effective iron bits buff sounds appealing with all the reroll costs

Noticed the same. Stripping all the potion effects whenever you change anything in the cauldron would be the easiest solution.

You could also do the same with the HP barrier potion.

Speaking of, running around with +200% Iron Bits gain is way too addicting :stuck_out_tongue:

Given the rerolling Iron Bits sink we now have, I always feel horrendous when not using Phillom. The only concession I’ve made so far was reducing the bonus to 150% and using something actually useful with it. But completely removing it?

I might have to sign up into “Phillom addicts anonymous”.
