Potion of Clarity at lvl100 for leveling Devotions

Will Potion of Clarity increase experience gained by Devotions at character lvl100? Does it actually even influence them below lvl100? Thanks in advance, didn’t find an answer.

Thats a thing…?

Do you want to ask if devotion skills - not maxed out yet - gain more experience with potion of clarity?
Sure.

But do they if you’re already L100 and not getting any XP yourself?

Never have tested that.
But I’d say sure, why not?

edit:
At most I have one or two levels of devotion skills left anyway, as soon as I hit lvl100.
That so different with you?

Exactly. The description says “Experience gained” without separating exp into character and devotions. I just completely changed a build of already lvl100 character with new active devotion skills, and the question immediately appeared. Of course, the Potion isn’t that pricy, but just interesting.

Rarely get to 100 so it’s moot far as I’m concerned.

I assume it’s worked out based on what you gain in XP when levelling, but could be wrong on that. Might have its own way of gaining XP separate from any levelling stuff.

yes

yes

devos obtain a 1:1 XP ratio of player afaik, and as such also gets boosted by any +xp boosters
so if you get 12 xp reading a lore note, your (assigned) devos get 12xp, etc for kills and any quest source

But if you’re already L100 you’re not gaining any more XP so what happens then?

you’re still gaining xp, when you complete a quest it still has xp attached to it right? - player just can’t level up anymore

I believe it indeed boosts your devotion exp as you practically gain experience nevertheless you’re lv 100. Haven’t really tested to verify it 100% because I always use a clarity pot on a re-made end game char that need the last levels to max the devotions out. But pretty sure
It does boost

I decided to find out through an experiment.
I made few runs in Challenger Crucible 150-170
Usual run without potion gives 159125 exp, runs with potion 318250. Exactly double the experience.
Thanks everyone for answers. Will use potion now being confident it actually works.
