Farming big badass Chtonians provides the best experience boost. You can find them in rifts. Bastion of Chaos is the best farming place cause its rift location is fixed.
To get even more experience, use a Skeleton Key to open Ancient Door in Bastion of Chaos and farm a dungeon behing it. Dont worry about crafting costs - you’ll get its cost refunded 3 times via drops. You shouldnt die there too early , though, cause dying there locks further access in that session.
P.S. Having bonus damage to Chtonians, enemy resistance reduction and capped resists (especially chaos) is highly adviced.
