I put a small farm in deer territory, it encourages them to stay close and breed faster.
Does it have to be right above the deer icon? I tried placing a farm in the middle of a triple (︽) deer spawn, but the deer did not even come near the field, and their numbers remained the same.
Lucky you. I can’t keep them out of my fields if I put them near a deer spawn unless I fence the crop field off.
In fact, I have had deer migrate across a good portion of the map to reach my fields, so that now I just automatically fence in every field because I KNOW that deer will appear like magic to dine there . . .
