I want to build a PTH formula spreadsheet that has mobs DA listed. I just wanted to know if the DA listed in Grim Calc is correct.
Ok so according to GrimCalc Commander Lucius DA has a value of 155 and the formula is (lvl7)+50. I am not sure where that 155 comes from but if I just use the formula then @ lvl 90 his DA = (907)+50 = 680
So, if the OA on my character sheet is 1000 and I plug that into the PTH formula I get
Sigh. So there is no where that shows a mobs actual starting DA before debuffs that we can apply such as:
Markovian’s Advantage
Vulnerability
Flash Bang
There doesn’t seem to be any skill for Shaman or Arcanist that reduces DA
You can determine enemy’s DA with your chance to hit/crit (listed in character’s tab) and your OA, at least, up to ~10-20 points. Just use reverse formula, that’s it.
For PTH fomula, only OA-DA difference does matter.
I started this because I wanted to know how to get the crits on my Panetti’s Replicating Missile up higher. I see people in the forms talking about get OA to 3k and I have no idea how that is possible without alot of sacrificing in other areas so I want to find that nice attainable number to shoot for. I currently have the 4 piece invoker and 2 of the clairvoyant off the top of my head for gear running a sorcerer with 11 in inner focus
I also have no idea how to get constant 3k OA without sacrificing ALL other valuable stats. I’ve got 2.5k OA on my WitchHunter (without Crucible buffs), but even though he has decent overcap on his resists, massive HP regen + ADCTH and 9600 HP, he still dies often on Challnger difficulty in Crucible… I’d rather gave up some of his OA just to get some tankiness…
I always thought a PRM would be a good crucible built. Tight quarters missile replicating all over the place. The bigger the group the more damage it does.
If you take two of the clairvoyants, I’d hope that’d be the staff and not another armor piece. Cuz the armor converts to chaos. Makes you lose dps.
But even with the optimal PRM setup of one or two decrees it’s still pretty mediocre. So have fun trying your best to optimize it, but ultimately it won’t be a good build. Ever. (Unless some massive patches for that skill roll around.)
And since you mention invoker: It’s thought for elemental PRM, and elemental is the worst damage type, period. Additionally, elemental PRM is the worst variant of PRM.
(You could get 3k OA with decent enough gear and OA focused devotion on a sorc easily thanks to the mix of inner focus and flame touched. 3x survivors ingenuity, 2x MI rings of Attack/Readiness/Draghoul or judicator set etc.)
elemental is actually secondary my main source of damage is Aether. I found a piece of Iskandra yesterday so I made the corresponding relic. I will be shooting for a Iskandra/Invoker set. I have a spellbreaker belt, Phantom…, and for now and some Magelord boots. Right hand is Wrath of the ascendant. All the Augments are + Aether. I am using all the Aether Devotions except imp which I didn’t incorporate so I could add more resistance devotions. I have not finished ultimate yet because I seem to dance around for one toon to another.
I was thinking of revamping the build to something like this
