I’m pretty much new here and as my first post, wanted to share and discuss my pure soldier build with you.
Keep in mind that I’m a somewhat newer player and this is my first character so ANY helpful suggestions towards tweaking the build itself is more than welcome.
So let me begin
The character has finished Ultimate (softcore), all end-game content, and reputations are maxed, friendly and unfriendly respectively (Outcast is also friendly)
Won’t get too carried away by writing a mile long thread to ease your reading, so I’ll just get into it
Gear:(Images below the list)
2H: Leviathan with Oleron’s Blood and Potent Oleron’s Fervor
Rings: Lifegiver Signet and Goliath Signet both with Corpse Dust and Mogdrogen’s Sanctity
Amulet: Ancestral Ward with Focusing Prism and Mogdrogen’s Sanctity (note: Using Focusing Prism just because of the lack of spirit and the +5% crit damage isn’t too bad)
Medal: Mark of Fierce Resolve with Vicious Jawbone
Head: Markovian’s Visor with Leathery Hide and Venomguard Powder
Shoulders: Elite Legion Pauldrons with Mutated Scales and Mankind’s Vigil
Chest: Dread Armor of Azragor with Chains of Oleron and Mankind’s Vigil
Legs: Hulking Legguards with Mutated Scales and Mankind’s Vigil
Relic: Avenger (Now I know a lot of you would say to go for Oleron’s Wrath, but with the current gear/skill/devotion setup, Avenger was more fitting with the extra 28% Elemental Resistance and 33% Vitality Reistance)
Hands: Empowered Brawler’s Gloves with Mutated Scales and Mankind’s Vigil
Feet: Earthshatter Treads with Antivenom Salve and Mankind’s Vigil
Belt: Reforged Chains of Oleron with Antivenom Salve and Mankind’s Vigil
NOTE: 3 images are missing since I’m only limited to posting 10 images per post, so I’ll post them in another post below this one
So that was everything gear related, now moving on to the damage sheets, resistances and other summaries
I’ll just post the images in a post below and let them tell you all the info and we will continue there
The following resistances are on Ultimate (And if you’re wondering, yes I did use the trainer at one point to edit the character name color, doesn’t red just look awesome?)
I will totally let you guys to comment whatever you want to suggest for me to tweak and change within any part of the setup
I’m also running 2h almost pure soldier (slightly into nightblade). Now approaching last act of ultimate and not having too much problems.
How is your healing by the way? I have invested into full leveled pneumatic burst from nightblade, and I have alot of healing procs from devotion. Not really lifestealing at all, and I dont see much of that on your build either.
Well, since I dish out huge crits from my Blade arc, as well as my Cadence AA’s, I get around 4-5k back from a average critical, the rest of my healing is from Devotion skills
I totally recommend nightblade tree just alone for PBrust, it’s really powerful skill.
Keep in mind that if you are going for blade arc spamming build, you don’t really benefit at all from soldier wps skill markovian/zolhan, as they won’t proc from blade arc.
But I use Clean Sweep on Blade Arc which puts it on cooldown, so I think that I infact need those skills for the basic attack power spikes inbetween Blade Arcs
So I went Dire Bear, Bull, Turtle, Crane, Unknown Soldier, Kraken, 2/3 Jackal for the attack speed since I’m a 2H, Behemoth for the sustain HP, Empty Throne for the pierce/aether/chaos resistances, Hammer, Harpy and Hawk
In my previous setup I also went for Rhowan’s Scepter since I’m using a 2H mace and Autumn Boar for the phy, but sacrificed both since Rhowan’s is pretty bad now and went for Unknown Soldier for the attack speed, HP, and lifesteal, as well as crit damage
For the attribute distribution I mostly went for phy/cunning and a few points into spirit to be able to equip legendary rings and amulets
