Yeah man i have to say, this is the coolest build ive ever seen in this game. Didnt recognize the post in the new forum, but just realized, this same post in the old forums was the backbone build idea that really inspired me to pursue my support builds, and those have given me the greatest joy Ive ever had in this game.

thank you for your praise, itās a damned rarity on the forums these days when all most people here seem to care about ridiculous crucible clear times (which ironically this build would probably push most others into 4m clears). Iām glad to see that this crazy idea me and my friend had actually inspired someone to put their own spin on it and have fun in the game.
I agree- the focus in the forums is so often heavily based around end game content, IE; judging a buildās successfulness based on crucible/sr clear times, etc. just look at the standardized post title nomenclatures (SR+, things like that). It makes sense- a build is clearly strong if it can clear crucible and sr fast and efficientlyā¦
But something gets lost in translation as i read those posts, and try to approach the game from that angle. The most fun part of the game (for me) is creating weird, janky builds- unique ones that have very specific roles and applications. As my favorite role in multiplayer games is as a defensive support type, in RPGs that generally means i love to play as a healer, and as such when I first started playing multiplayer my goal was to build a healer type, and my first one was a Warder that went all-in on HP Regen and used the Touch of Purity w/healing rain, Menhirs relic that heals/protects everyone, and the Totems.
She was so tanky she wound up being my first character to make it to 100!
Then I went searching for more ideas on different takes on the healer/support role, and thats when I came across your post- it was an extremely rare find, i think only 1 other person had posted about running a healer build. And i had searched all over, high and low!
You should definitely feel proud of this. Rare and unique builds are the ones i find most interesting and inspiring. This is hands down the rarest and most unique build ive ever come across- hardly anyone ive come across in games runs builds like this, which is a shame seeing how powerful they are in a group setting. Ill never forget joining a game titled ā75-76 SRā, i was level 80 using my DW touch of purity build (ill post it in grim tools link tonight and upload screenshots if i can figure out how to do that)ā¦ There were 2 players in the game, if i remember correctly they were both 96 or higher. One of them said ālevel 80, get the fā out of hereā. He was convinced id die. He was sorely mistakenā¦ But he sure died when I didnt support him.
