I wasn’t sure if this post should go into the Projects subforum or here, but since there isn’t going to be an upload in this thread, I went with the Discussion subforum.
Introduction
This Thread is about figuring out how many are interested in PvP, gathering different ideas and starting a PvP “community”.
The issue with PvP is: you need others to do it with. So if I just went ahead and made the mod, uploaded it and surprise everyone, finding someone to PvP with may be difficult and it would fail before it even started. In regard to this I decided to make this post, not to find out if it is worth making, but to warn those interested in it.
I have not started anything yet, because I am still working on the Mastery Tool, but releasing an alpha version for a PvP Mod will follow after I have finished the Tool. If you are wondering where it came from: Kathanious brought it up and I couldn’t sleep that night, because my brain started working on solutions and ways to make it happen. So all of this is in an early planning and ideas stage where it could fail at any given point, like PvP limitations or crashes. Information regarding PvP in Grim Dawn are appreciated and not only that I need it :D.

Let’s go over the things that came up discussing it with Kathanious and make a list of that and ideas posted in this Thread, I’ll write down everything and drop it when the time has come to work it in or not, however, I won’t add things where I know for certain it’s not possible. And keep in mind, this is a mod for a game with everything on your harddrive, this means cheating is possible, so it’s up to you to find those to play with that are taking this seriously.
