I’m thinking of making a fire tank build but I don’t know which one would make a better second spec the fire runes from Inquisitor or the debuffing from the Occultist.
I tried to make a fire tank build, it was really hard to do. The best way possible would be Commando, Demolitionist + Soldier. Neither Purifier or Pyromancer have enough defense to withstand much damage, they will be tanky, meaning harder to kill, but they will never be hard to kill.
My thread can be help. U can’t make facetanks of it, but this is the most possible tank variation.

I would say purfier more tankier. I could tank 2 reaper, till 10% hp.
If u go for this defensive devotion and give up dmg route every build can be tankier.
Purifier in justicar with seal and censure should be very tanky. Commando isn’t necessarily more tanky unless it’s a shield build.
Pyromancer on the other hand is one of the most frail characters in the game.
Well my purifier using stronghold set is full on tank and has really good dps as well.
Well, that might be right, but you’ll still be very vulnerable to certain types of damage. Like you said, you’ll be tanky, and OP wants a tank, so Commando would be the best choice, tactician would work too, but I think it’d rather be more of a elemental tank with a bigger touch of fire.

If you want a tank just build a tank. Both Pyro and Purifiers can be absurdly tanky if you build them that way. Just pick all defencive devotions, cap phyz res, put +% max res amy+medal, push DA to 3700 and push armor to 4k. That it, you are unbreackable tank.
