Estaba trasteando para saber qué versión tengo instalada, por el tema de los parches ¿Dónde se puede ver? ¿Cómo saber si mi juego ha recibido la última actualización?. ¿Se aplican las actualizaciones a la partida empezada o debes comenzar nueva partida?

When you first go into the game before choosing to make a new town or continuing with your current one look to the bottom right of the screen and you’ll see a version number there. The current version is v0.8.0. The playtest version is v0.8.1p1 atm.
Usually you don’t need to start a new town unless something in the patch notes says it’s not retroactive.
¡Muchas gracias por su rápida respuesta! Estoy buscando la forma de probar la nueva actualización cuando salga, pero no encuentro la forma de acceder al código de prueba de la beta. Por más que leo y busco, no encuentro “prueba de juego”.

Go down to the Public Testing Discussion section and in there in the FAQ is the code you need to enter into Steam for the playtest version. Right click on the game’s icon in your Steam library, go down to Properties and over to Betas. Select Playtest from the drop down and then enter the code and hit Check Code. Steam will then download the playtest version for you.
