So on some passives like Entangling Vines, Wasting, Black Death, Blood Pact, Anatomy of Murder, Merciless Repertoire, etc say they increase bleed/poison damage. Do the bonuses only apply to the spells they are linked to or does it increase all bleed/poison damage? I’m trying to make a build centered around Primal Spirit and I want to buff its bleed and poison damage as much as possible.
Actually talking about passives in the skill tree not items
AFAIK, if it’s a solitary skill node like Anatomy of Murder, it buffs all attacks that have that specific damage type, whereas, if it’s a secondary skill (Entangling) attached to (Grasping Vines) a main skill, it will only buff what the main skill does. In this case, adding more physical and bleed. Now, don’t forget, the main skill (Grasping) will still get to add all your character sheet bonuses to physical and bleeding.
ty, that makes sense.
