Question About DLC Sharing on Multiplayer?

On other games I play, if the host owns the DLC, it’s shared among everybody that joins. Is this the case for The Crucible as well? I’d be looking to get it.

Also, how good is the Crucible for lower level characters? We’re all about in our 30s and could use some better gear lol.

Nope that’s not how DLC works in GD or most other games tbh, not sure what games you’ve played that share DLC.

As to better gear, just keep playing… there is no point in farming in Normal to me, whatever gear drops is sufficient (unless you play HC…), I also am not sure that Crucible drops will be better than what just playing the campaign gets you

EU4, CK2, Stellaris, HOI4…they all share DLC among the members from the host.

But okay thanks.

Crucible only gives you better gear if you can reach the higher levels quickly/easily, otherwise you’ll just spend a lot of time struggling for junk greens you’ll find playing normally anyway.

None of those are ARPGs/hack and slash games. Not only that, but every single one of those games are Paradox games, and are rare exception to how most companies deal with dlc/expansions.

TQIT > didn’t let you play with non IT players

D3 > didn’t let you play with RoS players

Borderlands > have to have DLC to play DLC areas.

Yeah that’s true lol. I like the model though for at least those types of games. But that’s okay. I’ll wait for a sale and have everyone get it lol

I agree that its a cool model if you wanna save money hah. Try before you buy, so long as you have friends.

Crate often has sales on Steam, just keep an eye out.
