hey guys 
i skilled the bird (occultist) in healing, but most of the time he don’t heal my other pets. They stay at 20% life. sometimes he heal up to 80% but i don’t understand the mechanic behind.
p.s. it doesn’t matter how much points the healings skill has.
I am no pet master but Raven is the worst pet in the game currently, I think only Og’Napesh skeleton is worse
hell yes, the skeleton from the book is really worse :p:rolleyes:
so i removed 12 points and skill now dreegs blood at max. much better choice
I’d have to respectively disagree. I think the bird is the best pet. Here is why.
I have a level 85 occultist/shaman (can’t think whats that called at the moment) its a bloody pox build with pets. The briathorn is only good for its roar that buffs you other than that it is the first pet to die always and does crap damage hardly a meat shield cause its to quick to die. The hellhound does no damage and only works in my build cause it procs a devotion constanly and that kills but aside from its suicide skill also pointless. The bird- early levels its lighting stike is goong to kill before you can click the enemy later its a widdle but helps, its healing skill is better than not having an auto heal skill and it buffs elemental damage and resistances to boot. All that aside its damn near immortal as itis hardly targeted by monsters so it becomes a cast it forget it skill where the other two youhave to pay attention to see if you need to resummon.

It is called a Conjurer and i have to disagree with you about the pets dieing so fast, i focus mainly on pets and now that i am lvl 79 my briarthorn has 80.000 health and he almost never dies, same goes for my other pets.
I think if you want pets to be usefull you will need to get pet gear and skills, mixed with some defense gear that has alot of health.
I followed the Lazy pokemon build, you can find that in the Build compendium.
As far as the Raven goes, i didn’t invest alot of points in it yet, but will try it out when i get to 85. Playing Hardcore that is why i used points meant for the Raven on other skills like heart of the wild.
I have pets mainly as otherwise I get kinda lonely.
My pet build tried Raven…And generally, I had no use for the heal, as my pets are taking aggro. And OFC the Raven itself does poor damage, doesn’t engage when my melee pets do, and often tries to shoot through scenery resulting in it going from poor damage to NO damage.
Raven’s really, really stupid…One could even say it’s bird brained.
I can agree that fully pointed out the briarthorn can take a licking in my build it and bird are half pointed up with hellhound being fully maxed and passives but my real damage comes from bloody pox. Will have to look at some true pet build videos to see pets actually killing content before player. Mainly I see them as stat boosters and ocationally distractions. Currently working on arcanist/occultist (warlock???). Fully maxed calidors, olexra flash freeze and sigil of consuption trees level 62 now and will have 6 points to spare when build is done thinking doing 1 in all bird skills and rest in devestation. Going to write up a build when I’m maxed if it continues to dominate.
Raven is good for healing purpose and bad in any others.
And i still believe that at one day raven will get rid of their incredible stupidity and becomes a normal pet.
