Question about Searing Strike

Hello fellow GrimDawners.

The tooltips state that you need either a 1H melee weapon or 2H melee weapon/2H ranged weapon. No mention for pistol/shield combination.

So is this combination useless for Searing Strike [pistol/shield]?

Yes.

Essentially the modifiers are for either 2H weapons, or 1H melee weapons. If you’re using pistols (either dual-wield or pistol and shield), you get all the base damage but no extra damage transmuters.
