Sorry if this has been asked before, I can’t seem to find the answer I’m looking for. So from my understanding, then the WPS “pool” reaches 100%, it essentially triggers a WPS every attack, and multiple WPS cannot trigger at once. My question is this, if I have a devotion skills linked to my DAR, can a devotion skills proc at the same time as a WPS.
For example, if I have Rumor attached to my Beronath’s Fury, and my WPS pool is at 100% so every attack is triggering some WPS skills, can Rumor still proc, or is the WPS proc essentially overriding the DAR?
short answer; devotion still triggers
“long” answer, your auto attack replacer skill has its own devotion proc chance, which is unrelated to wps or your wps pool
the WPS also doesn’t override your AA, it modifies it, so it’s still Beronath’s Fury attack just boosted into x wps - which also means if the WPS is an aoe hit, your beronath fury attached devotion get a proc chance from each target that wps aoe hit
so if ex you had a devotion attached to both beronaths fury, and your wps, you could potentially trigger 2 devotions on 1 hit with some good luck
(in general it’s not great to attach devos to WPS since it becomes “chance on chance”, which equals lower effective trigger % for the wps devo)
That’s actually a really great explanation! I know I wasn’t asking op question, but still. GJ!
Thank you so much for the clarification! You explained that really well.
