Questions about arcanist skills + pets

So, I’m wondering about some things…

1: Does Iskandra’s elemental exchange’s +elemental dmg work with pets? Since it says in the tooltip your weapons draw energy from foes and pets don’t have weapons.

2: Does overloads +%elemental dmg work with ravens lightning and hellhounds fire dmg? Since it again says in the tooltip it’s about your weapons.

2.5: Does overloads chance to deal ice/fire/lightning dmg apply to pets?

This is unclear to me. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I found the answer to my first questions here on the forum, that is that the flat +elemental dmg from IEE works with pets even though they dont have weapons but can’t find anything about the other stuff

  1. Yes, IF you get manifestation (turns IEE into an aura that grants +%elemental damage to pets). All pets have a default weapon and they use this weapon to perform normal attacks, with a few exceptions (the raven, for example, has a skill for a normal attack).
    Note that the skill explicitly states that the damage conversion part of the base skill only applies to the caster. You need Manifestation for pet physical to elemental damage conversion. Everything else works with pets.

  2. +%bonuses generally work on everything associated with that damage type as long as they’re a general buff (like from an aura) instead of being exclusive to a particular skill.
    This includes normal attacks (like the hellhound’s Claw and Fang attack) and special attacks (the hellhound’s Blazing Death attack).

  3. Tested. Yes, it works even without Manifestation.

Thanks a lot! The occultist arcanist combo summoning pets can be pretty strong then.

One more thing, even though i already know it should work, but just to be sure, the elemental balance also works for pets then, amirite? :slight_smile:
