Did you double check if you can get it already? Honored is the next rank up from respected, so if you’re honored it’s good to go
The worst thing in my opinion is his aoe fan attack. Looks like 3 red/black cracks on the ground. He does it twice, not always in the same direction, usually right in front of him. Those are one shotters. They hurt that bad.
If you were melee, I would say run in and dps burst for 3-4 seconds after he does that attack. Rinse. Repeat till he is dead. Of course lots of moving around through all his other annoying attacks. Since you have pets and a range weapon, shouldn’t be too hard to avoid them. Your pets may die, but you can always recast them. Of course, abuse the hell out of Inquisitor’s Seal. Good absorb damage, will allow you to stand and shoot, and/or recast your pets.
He does a fly up and dive attack, easy enough to avoid.
His black pools all over the place look daunting af, but you can run around the edge of the map and not get hurt. If you do, you have a heal spell in addition to your potion, so you should be good.
Of course, there are the bolts of red lightning. I am guessing chaos damage. Like the black pools, you can kite around the map to avoid them.
Besides the chance of casting your pets over and over again, maybe Word of Renewal, shouldn’t be too much of an issue, especially if you put points in Mark of Torment.

I did manage to craft it and my Damage increased by 2K. Still need to finish the side quests first and try again.

Can I do the same with another pistol and dual wield? Would that help?
you should use only one shard of beronath, but you can put vicious spikes or hell bane ammo in the other pistol (depends on damage type which) for more dmg

You can certainly duel wield if you like, but only need one shard of beronath. The other gun could have something like hell’s bane ammo or silvercore bolts. If you’re looking for simple-to-acquire elemental weapons maybe check out death’s revolver (death’s vigil faction) or stormsurge pistol (crafted from blueprint, which can be sold by the hidden vendor in blood grove, but is level 90). There’s also storm emitter dropped by korvaak’s servants in forgotten gods

It really is the best ARPG.

what I like to do at night is play with controller (Xbox). a little harder to configure at first but I find it quite cool to be able to play it in chill mode.

But until TQ I will go back to Svarog’s Dream and finish my chaos play-through.
