I’ve found that raiders often attack from the same one or two angles. Which is kind of boring since I really don’t need to protect any of the other angles of my town.
They most often come from the south region, or the south east region, sometimes the eastern region of the map, but I’ve had around 20-30 raids and I’ve never seen them come from the North, or the west, at all. I’ve had them attack me at my south-west gate one or two times (two small armies with the bulk of the armies coming from the south).
Do raiders have a pre-determined side of attack when the seed is generated? Or do certain seeds prevent them from attacking from other/all angles?
I have one lookout tower on the side that never gets attacked and like 15 on the sides that do get attacked. I’d prefer some diversity in the raiding combat, randomized attack angles would help spice that up.
Yeah that could be one of the issues, I have a mountain to the west side, but they would still be able to path over it or come from slightly above it from the North-west. I have a bit of water next to the mountain to the west side so maybe that’s why they avoid the north and west side altogether
I think the map has spawn points for raiders, and how many there are is probably slightly random. On one map they only ever came from one point which made it very cheap in watch towers! But on my current map there are 3 points I think
